Making Cloaks for Gentlemen

Spent a great deal of time working on the red crushed velvet sofa. The texture took me a while to get down. Here is the portrait, now in a gilded frame.
Here I have worked out a visage for the fate with the scissors. The gentleman has a lovely purplish face, and his eyes are barely opened. I really like the bottom fringe on this sofa. A little paint makes a big difference.

I also like the fringe..you have a particular style that I enjoy more with each viewing...and when you show a close up of the detail, it makes me want to drag whoever is around into the room to see it.Sadly they've all gone to bed just now so I will enjoy this sumptuous visual feast by myself!
