The Regrettable Contest of Noughts and Crosses, chapter 15



The audience sat bewildered before the astonishing display.
On matters of public policy, neither one had much to say,
but they puffed and preened and ranted, much as everyone expected,
and, as luck would have it, the travesty went undetected.
