The Regrettable Contest of Noughts and Crosses, chapter 26
The Governor said, "My thoughts and prayers go out to the bereaved."
Yet he did little to conceal how very much he was relieved.
With his trusty campaign crew and a serviceable map,
the Governor plotted out the route which he called his "victory lap".
