Does that happen a lot? You know, where someone commissions a work and not pay for it? Do you ask for a down payment 1st so that your initial efforts aren't in vain? I'm only asking just in case I ever decide to get back into my pottery again.
This is a lovely sun dappled road! Reminds me of a country road very near to where I live.
I asked for half up front, but since I had some other orders backing up, I thought I would get a head start on it, taking it on faith that the deposit would materialize. I have had a variety of difficulties with custom work, and now I am not taking commissions, except for special patrons.

I'm drawn to your forest paintings. You have one at your etsy store that also appeals to me.
Thank you! I have more forest paintings that I want to do.
I love it! We don't have any money though or I'd buy! :(
