Here is a cigar box that I started to refinish last year, but then stuffed into my closet because it wasn't cooperating with me. However, my friend and award winning photographer, Angela Rocco has requested that I make her a keepsake box for her vintage pins.
I would also like to add that Angela is a local celebrity and plays the Nosferatu-like creature on The It's Alive Show. Here is a picture of her in costume as Hellga!
Hellga is the most adorable role. She doesn't speak and communicates via charades!
Angela is funny and sweet and talented and I am happy to be designing her keepsake box. Mortifyingly enough, she is leaving the design entirely up to me! She won't even give me a clue! So stay tuned and we'll see what I come up with.

I think I would enjoy watching "Helga". Your friend is beautiful btw and I am sure she will be pleased with whatever you come up with as you are extremely talented yourself!
What a great friend....I bet you and she have some great chats! What approach are you considering? You are so artistic, I know that it will be amazing, where is she going to keep this box...that will help with inspiration.
