At his request, I am posting my son, Matthew's (age 6) painting. It is a still life of a blue glass bowl of bananas. He is going to practice his reading by reading the comments that are left about his paintings. So I ask my friends not to drop any f-bombs this one time.

Your son is 6? That's amazing. I'm 50 and still can barely draw a stick figure. Matthew, keep painting son, you have quite a talent! Kathy
Matthew, You are very talented! Your painting is beautiful. When I was six, I could only draw stick figures with round heads on them. I'm sure your mom can show you what I mean.
One day you are going to be selling your art work just like your parents!

Matthew, I love your painting. I would buy it, but I'll bet your mother wants to keep it. Even though I know it's a blue bowl with bananas in it, I like to imagine it's a boat sailing on a green sea and the flowers are oarsmen trying to get the bananas to safety. See how you've sparked my imagination. Well done.
Matthew's painting reminds me of Matisse's gold fish bowl painting, as it too was a glass bowl. Yes, I hope he will keep painting and use his unique vision to see the world in his own way. Nice painting Matthew!!!
Matthew, What a wonderful painting! I really like the blue bowl. It would look nice hanging on the wall by my blue sofa. And I love yellow bananas too. If I was a little monkey at the zoo, I would want someone to feed those bananas to me at snack time. Yum! What do you think a little monkey could do with the flowers?
I hope you will paint some more pictures to show us!
