Story Illustrations April 7, 2010
I have begun to illustrate a short story I wrote some time ago. You can see the shortened version here. This is the very first illustration. The protagonist playing with her toy beneath the table. I still don't have a title for this story, if you have any ideas, leave them in the comments.

This is one of the best kinds of posts for me to see - how people create what they create! It doesn't minimize the magic in any way, shape or form. It's absolutely fascinating.
I love your imagination and I vote YES..please continue with this idea. Loved the tiny snippet of a story..just enough to say..more please!
Your stories have so many layers and symbols, you are so creative. Glad you enjoed the cupcakes...I have a grea book called Hello Cupcake that shows how to make the most adorable cakes. My favorite is the schnauzer and the Yorkie, you boys would love these! Have a great Wednesday, can't wait to see your Alpha-B Thursday post!
Hi Julie, thanks for coming by this morning!I enjoy seeing what you do.I have my Alpha B post ready to go, I cant wait to see what you have up your sleeve.
I like it...I love the texture of the wooden table. But certainly more than that, the atmosphere you create...wonderfully dark.
Julie...this painting is stunning, even as is. I am really liking the current "unfinished" state.
I remember your post about the story. I so need to start a Julie Schuler fan club!
I don't know what happened to my comment!
In a nutshell I gushed over this illustration. I really like the current "unfinished" state it is in but look forward to see it progress.
Oh and I think I also wrote about starting a Julie Schuler fan club or some such thing.
Let's see if this one makes it through
Possible title for story: Oh, Mercy
The girl's name is Mercy.
Or Oh, Mercy Me
Hi there, I love this illustration, nothing pops in my mind though for a title yet..."Hidden treasure" that is the first that popped in my head!~
I just love your illustrations...thank you for your visit to my "Love" post...MrsC is progressing nicely...thanks for asking...
