I am just tickled pink with how this one came out. She is so saucy and suggestive, and the textures in all the china cabinet contents thrill me. I think a lot of this story and its pictures are informed by two sources: The Christmas Party in Ingmar Bergman's Fanny and Alexander and Alice going down the rabbit hole in Jan Svenkmajer's Alice. In fact, there is no other version of Alice in Wonderland half as good, in my estimation.
