Fishy Fishy and More Knitting

I don't normally start a new project until the old one is finished, but I went and did it this time. This is going to be a dress, I hope.

Here are some pictures of our pet fish, Arby. We've had him going on three months, but a little while ago we almost lost him. I tried to give him a live plant to make him happier, but it kept getting brown spots on it, and it was stressing him out. So I pared down his tank to just one log and silk plant. He was looking really dull and unhappy. After some weeks of constant attention and aquarium salts, and BettaFix, I managed to not kill him! Also, I put him in the kitchen where there is more light and he seems happier. He likes a lot of activity.

I didn't think it was possible to kill a Beta. Glad Arby is doing better.

Looking forward to seeing the dress progress.

Good for you. It seems that nearly every fish that enters our home dies. And we're careful not to feed them too much, too.

It's been a long time since we even tried to have one, but the kids always used to want to give it another go.

Glad you are more successful!

I'm so glad poor Arby is still with us.

I can't get over how much you get done!
