Van Halen was definitely one of my favorite bands from the 80s. They were so much fun. I remember when 1984 came out, I was ten years old playing at my neighbor's house, his older teenage brother brought out 1984 and played it on the hi-fi. The cover was such a shocking scandal! When I hear it I think about summer, my sister getting a sun tan in the backyard. That was right before she got married and moved out. It will always remind me of the last summer we were all together, even though she likes Bon Jovi better.
