The Woodcutters

This is 9" x 12", I think. But I'm having a hard time filling up the canvas. I always feel the first day falls short of my expectations. It's too monochrome and not very fulfilling. If you try to load it up with too much on the first day, though, you get a great deal of muddiness. I don't think I would have the patience to go back to oil paintings that require several days of drying time. I am very curious sometimes, about executing the final layer of the painting and the fine details in oils. I will have to try it sometime.
