Afternoon Music at the Swannery

I've finished this painting. Here is the final picture:

A golden afternoon, itinerant musicians are playing a song to the swans. A lot of fairy tale charm in this original acrylic painting on acid free paper. 8" x 10" by Julie Kwiatkowkski Schuler. The "My Good Babushka" watermark is for security purposes and is not on the painting itself.

Afternoon Music at the Swannery

Painting has begun on Afternoon Music. I want it to be very rich and golden for my fairy tale duet.

Afternoon Music at the Swannery

A sketch for my next painting. A little bit of a lighter, romantic, old fashioned fairy tale feel. A little girl with a violin. Maybe a princess, maybe a pretend princess with a paper crown! An old man with an accordion. They are playing a song to the swans in the golden afternoon forest.
