Abecedarium of Demise: U and V

Vivian played the Violin in a popular Vaudeville Venue.
She Ventured to assist a Vainglorious Villain in his magic review.

She climbed into a Vented Vestibule and the Vulture produced a saw
Poor Vivian was Vivisected and the audience Viewed it all.

Ulysses flew his Ultralight Under an Ultramarine sky.
Umbrageous clouds gathered overhead and a Ululation came from Up high.

Ulysses soon became Unglued in light of these events so Uncanny
He was Untimely Usurped by a UFO, an Unusual end not met my many.

Vivian looks to have needed to review her choices. The UFO seems the better fate.

Julie, It's so obvious that your sketches come with such ease. Where do these come from your dreams? Your little writings are quirky and funny. I think they're great!

But yes......poor Vivian. Yikes I wouldn't want to be his assistant. The subtlety of the line drawings you did for the crowd have such obvious meaning. Very cool!

Outstanding job, again, as always. Loved Vivian's vivisection and Ulysses' UFO abduction! Clever!

We got ourselves a 'twofer'! V was my favorite this week.....

Boy, do you make me laugh!!

the V is too cruel a death but the U is not so bad, at least Ulysses might not die

Very funny. I've always wondered if someone used a magic "act" to actually kill. Now I know they do...and poor Ulysses, what a fate. Perhaps worse than death...

Wow, a double header! How cool is this?

What an extra surprising link on our little journey through Alphabe-Thursday's letter "V"! I love seeing your "U" here, too!

I can relate to Vivian!

Your drawings are very vibrant this week, too!

A+

I'm so glad you are back! Poor Ulysses! Poor Vivian! I think the last time I head the word vivisect was in Camelot.

I was concerned we weren't going to have a U post since you were absent last week but hurray, you came through. Poor Ulysses but I think he's better off than Vivien. Hopefully, he still had a chance unlike Vivian. Great U and V posts.

I just knew that you wouldn't come this far in our alphabet journey and miss a letter! This was fantastic, both just made me smile. I love your choice of words. Vivisect and ululation are certainly not heard much anymore! Kathy
