Dressing Up My Chair

I fancied up my reupholstered chair with this wool afghan. It's a little bit lacy, but not too much. It was a real pleasure to knit. I like to knit giant squares, with no extra sewing or ends to work in.

Justin wouldn't get out of the way, so you'll have to admire it around him.

There is a close up on the pattern and the color. It's a lovely blue-green but not shocking. It has a weathered and heathered look about it. It's 100% wool, so remind me not to put it in the dryer.

It's lovely; the color is a perfect compliment to the red. Perfect!

That looks like one snugly chair to curl up in with that beautiful afghan. Wool is so warm, in the winter when in doubt about being cold.....wear wool. I bet that afghan will be perfect on a cold winters night with a little hot chocolate and a good movie. Nice work Julie!

I love the pattern of this. You could definitely sell these. How long does it take you to knit one?

Oh, and Julie...do not put it in the dryer.

That's a lovely shade. The pattern is very similar to the baby afghans that I made quite a few of. Then I expanded the pattern and made a king sized one for my Best. That goes so nicely with the red chair, too.

All that's needed now is a lit candle and a good book!

This is gorgeous. I was so worried that the chair might be nekkid. What a relief! ha!

Justin has the right idea. I'd like to cuddle with the afghan in that chair too.
