Ugh, More Bad News.
I finished my shawl, but you can see at the left side, I've made a mistake. I didn't see it until I was finished. I added or left out a row towards the left side and now it is, commercially, not viable. I guess it's my shawl now.
Oh well, it doesn't really show when I wear it. And when people ask me where I got it, I can give them my business card. It will be a good little bit of advertising, so long as they don't notice the flub!

I guess I don't see it.
You need to hang around with me. I don't see the mistake!!
Sorry about your mistake. I can't see from the photo it looks beautiful to me!! Oh well now you have a beautiful shawl(O:
Actually, it looks good to me. I don't knit, so it wouldn't be as obvious to me or any other non-knitter. Go ahead and wear it. I bet no one notices.
I wouldn't have noticed if you hadn't pointed it out. It's absolutely beautiful, and I hope you enjoy wearing it.
It's not a flub. It is part of the charm of "handmade"
I wouldn't have noticed this either. And you're right, wearing it will give you the opportunity to give people your card, because your work is lovely.
=)
Oh Julie, I had such problems with this when I was trying to teach myself to crochet. Absolutely could not get the piece to be the same size on one end as on the other. I totally understand your frustration!!! (I am doing much better now... I finally figured out what I was doing wrong.) Well, as you said, you now own a beautiful shawl, and can use it as a walking advertisement for your handiwork... which is gorgeous!. :-)
Sometimes what we do with our mistakes turns into a plus.
