Bentleyville Day 14
I've been working on this tall youngster in the back. I'd say he's about half right. Foolishly, I was taking my original photo around and working off of it. Even outside. Then it started to curl up, and I got pretty frightened that if I didn't put it back in it's folder I was going to end up with some serious damage to my precious artifact. So now I am working from a quick printout and even if it's not true, I feel the resolution is worse. And it's making me grumpy.

I can't believe how much you have finished, it looks so real it's incredible.
If there were still a Saturday Evening Post, this would definitely belong on the cover.
I like the tall youngster. He feels sort of Jimmy Stewart-ish to me. (Not in his looks, but his personality.)
=)
I haven't been able to read blogs for awhile and wow, your painting is coming along. You are doing such a fantastic job with this.
Hope your move went smoothly.
Julie, I am liking the tall youngster ... he looks, well like someone i would want to talk to.
I am amazed at how true to the photo your painting is! Fabulous!!
