Family Portrait - Initial Sketch
I am working on a composite family portrait. I combined six people from five separate photographs. My sketching has become fairly shaggy. I think I am a colorist, and I don't really care for defining sketches in black and white. Sometimes, clients become concerned when I don't have a likeness correct in a sketch, but in truth, I hardly pay any attention to the likenesses at this point. I am just trying to fit the right sizes and shapes together.

Just Beautiful work you have going on here. I love it!
Not knowing the family I cannot comment on the "likeness" but there is definitely some personality going on! I look forward to your coloring stage.
What an interesting process it all is. I love having you describe it.
=)
So cool, Julie!

There is such joy in these faces.

This is so cool! I love that you can see the family resemblance in the sketch!
