J. Kwiatkowski Studios is Launched Today.
I have had such a positive response to my portrait services, that I am starting a blog devoted to this pursuit. There will be some cross-posting, and if you are already following this blog, you are welcome to stay here with me. If you only like my portraiture, and get sick of my talking about other stuff- you can find the distilled essence of my portrait painting at J. Kwiatkowski Portraits. I have also decided to paint under my mother's maiden name of Kwiatkowski, not for any good reason other than Julie Schuler is too rhymey, and I'm going through this getting in touch with my roots thing. I hope it's not too confusing.

It's not confusing at all. My legal name is Susan Diane Anderson, but I write under Susan Noyes Anderson to incorporate my maiden name and roots.
I like having the Noyes in there, and I wouldn't have minded making it just Susan Noyes, either. I never thought of that!
=)
Yes, by all means use the Kwiatkowski name. I thought I was a Martin and found out I'm really a Kwiatkowski...remember? In fact, I'm hoping we can go to the Polish Festival in Houston next weekend. I told my husband he needs to be with his own people. :) Good luck with Kwiatkowski Portraits!
Congrats, Julie. I'm waiting for my in-laws to send their cruise pictures, and my niece. Once I have all available, then I'll pick the one that I want. I have one maybe right now, but it's got 11 of our 14 faces. Great shot, taken by our tourguide, but missing m-i-l..., and great aunt and uncle. Or I may just opt for one of my immediate family. Either way, it will be their belated 50th anniversary gift (yes, I always plan ahead...) Anyway, enough of my rambling. Congrats on the leap and best of luck in your new business and blog, I think I'll stay here if I get portraits AND, and only portraits in your new digs. Much enjoy the AND, also ;-)
I have the first picture ready for you Julie!
Congrats on the new venture. Good luck.
