Sketch for my next painting The Woodcutters. I feel like I want to move into a different direction with my painting. I hope it is both richer and more simply legible. I have always struggled to make the kinds of paintings I would want on my wall. The bareness of some of my walls lets me know I haven't accomplished what I want, yet.
