Cottage Maids in The Autumn Garden

Now I've made my ladies a bit more serious. I feel like they look a little bit guilty. I would check the teapot for strychnine. I have been inspired by this story about an Attempted Murder at Kirkdale 1852. The mother and aunt attempted to poison a young woman, maybe because she wouldn't go into prostitution. She was just lazing about, not earning her keep, I guess.
