Mari Lwyd
Work in progress on my Mari Lwyd. A Welsh midwinter tradition, a luck-bringing ritual in which a company along with a person disguised as a horse go from house to house and sing at each door to get food and money. I am painting the Mari Lwyd, the gray mare, alone.
