Still working on my little characters for this painting. I've not been happy with them yet. I must keep at it.

Troublesome Creek

The Fugates, a family that lived in the hills of Kentucky, commonly known as the Blue Fugates of Troublesome Creek, were notable for having been carriers of a genetic trait that led to the disease methemoglobinemia, which gives sufferers blue-tinged skin.

This is Troublesome Creek,  my painting inspired by that story.
