I put in some barren sandscape. Mainly in black and white and thalo blue. There are some milky stars on the dark horizon, but they are hard to see here.





I started to paint in these brass fish apparatus down where the feet should be. So far, so good. I like the effect I'm getting with the brass. I had originally intended to go with a really bright gilded look, but with the dark backround it just didn't read right, too incongruous. I also started to put a halo of colored lights, mostly yellow here, around the base of the figure.
