Anatomical Venus
Here is my representation of the famous Anatomical Venus of Clemente Susini made in the late 18th century. It is interesting to know that wax models of gravid anatomies were produced until the 1940s because pregnant cadavers are in somewhat short supply.
I will be using this painting, perhaps to make postcards for Zombie Fest. I have also included it in a very special artwork/jewelry box that I am offering on my etsy site.

Hi! Thanks for commenting on my blog.
Your painting reminds me a lot of Damien Hirst's sculture "The Virgin Mother." Have you heard of it/seen it? Very similar idea.
