I'm reprising my rats in formalin painting for a friend. I've decided to make this one 8" x 10" so it will be easier to frame. Also considering making prints of the original rats in formalin painting, since it has garnered a bit of interest.

Rats awake my primal fears. Mice are fine, but rats terrify me. It still good work though, because I almost screamed.
I don't know if I have a particular animal phobia. Spiders and insects scare me, when I'm not expecting them. A spider crawled over my lap when I was picking lettuce this summer. I screamed like a girlie girl.
