Sketchy

I've decided to get back to painting. This is how I began nutsin' around with sketches. In the first one is a little girl with a huntsman's axe. Underneath was another little girl. Then there was a sort of seance scene with ample ectoplasm, and lastly a Baba Yaga type woman. Meh. Nothing is grabbing me yet.

Man! Don't you hate those anonymous posts! Fortunately we have the capability of deleting.

These sketches seem fairy tale like to me. Very interesting. I'll be curious as to which direction you go. I love an artist's work in progress!

You do nice work sketching. Have you ever thought about doing a children's book. I know that is a tough market, but your sketches are really good. I think you could just illustrate with sketches, no paint necessary.

I was thinking about driving down to Atlanta to see drawings by Leonardo da Vinci at their art museum. I really love drawings in a single color.

Thanks, Money.
I have written a story and painted illustrations to go with it. So far they are scanned and awaiting formatting somewheres on my computer. It's one of those "when I get around to it" things. I have already decided no one will want to publish it, I guess that's not a good way to start out.
