Abecedarium of Demise: The Letter F

F is for my little tale of woe, and also, today, F is for FREE! I am going to give away one miniature painting on plaster to one of my blog friends. If you want to see an example go to My Good Babushka and look under Miniature paintings. I'm talking about the 1" x 2" cameo size. You can have any one out of my store, or I will do one from your own photo.

I couldn't decide how to conduct this game so I'm going to go with my favorite game that I watch every morning: The Match Game! Whomever matches my answer will win, and if more than one person matches my answer I will write the names down and randomly draw a winner. You will just have to trust that I am doing this honestly because it's my game. And it's free, so what do you care? Don't play if you don't want to.

No, come back I don't mean that.

Now imagine Gene Rayburn's voice-

"Brenda said,'My husband works as a chef in a high class restaurant. He is such a gourmet, he won't even get into the hot tub with me unless it's filled with _________!'"

So once again: I will take the names of all the entrants whose answer matches mine and put them in a hat. Then I will have one of my sons draw out the winner's name. Come back to next week's AlphabeThursday to find out my answer and to find out who won!

Florence went ice Fishing out on the Frozen lake,
She got a little Flustered deciding what to take.

She brought Farm Fresh Fruit and Flashlights, but the matches she Forgot
So Florence simply Froze to death in her Favorite Fishing spot.

What a fun post, all the the way down to Florence's freeze. It's a great offer as well. I'm going with fresh whipped creme for my answer.

Poor Florence!

And poor me...I didn't get here quickly enough to post an original answer--the first thing that popped into my head was champagne--but PJ already said that :(

I would LOVE to have one of your miniatures. I have a friend who does them and I am going to an opening of a miniature show in which her work is featured--I admire miniature work but tend to do larger work myself...heading over to take a look at your stuff :)

It's BUTTER I tell you, BUTTER!

I was wondering where you would go with F. Foolish Florence. Fantasizing about fire only to be forever fixed, frozen upon the floe.

Gaak! Too exciting for words. I've never watched the match game. Is it supposed to rhyme? Dark chocolate?

I would have said butter, but how about EVO (Extra Virgin Olive Oil)?

Love the F sketches and poem.

Oh, poor foolish Florence. As for the hot tub for a chef. . . it would have to be filled with butter, but if it were for me it would definitely be bubbly champagne!!!

Every good babushka likes soup! hmmmmm, kind of yucky in a hot tub though.... Enjoying your blog!

Oh no! I always read the links in order...even though I am dying of anticipation to get to yours...

Let's see.... gourmet. tub. You just made gourmet ravioli. Ummm.... Ummmm.... Ummm....

But I don't think a gourmet would want a tub full of flour or ricotta.

So since the other answers I first thought are taken I'm gonna say... caviar. Although the image of that is pretty gross.

OK. No. Take back the caviar.

OK. I'm gonna say ... EXPRESSO!

That would be hot!

Rats. Now I need to go back and read the F part of the post.

...

...

Julie! I love you. In a totally appropriate teacher/student way...

I mean...ummm.

OK. Let me put it like this before I stick my foot further in my mouth!

A+

Poor Florence Frozen Awwwwwwwww.

You are so clever! I think poor Florence must be from Texas, that's why she was so unprepared! As for our chef, my first thought was butter too. Kathy

Aww poor Florence! The ice coming down off her nose made me giggle though, I must be terribly insensitive!

The first thing that came to mind for the match game was gravy. Which is kinda gross, but I'll go with it anyways *L*
