Abecedarium of Demise: The Letter G

Gus the garrulous grifter met a gangster in Botswana
He drove guns across the border for him in his Jeep Granada.

With the gangster's gun moll, poor Gus was quite besotted,
and that is how Gus got his foolish self garroted.

Speaking of garrotes reminds me of a movie I recently watched- Goya's Ghosts. It features a very good garroting at the end. And this below is Javier Bardem, whom I've only seen before in No Country for Old Men, but I thought he was quite good in this film. Brother Lorenzo could "put me to the question" anytime, is what I'm saying.

But all right, lets get back on track. I have something to say about the contest I had last week. You are all losers!

Since you are all losers I just put all your names into the pot. It's easier than having to do the whole game again. I was surprised and pleased that I got 25 people to guess, and I look forward to having more Match Games in the future.

And the winner is Lissa from The Memory of Rain. Lissa may have any 1" x 2" plaster cameo from My Good Babushka, or I will make a customized one for her. Yay for Lissa and for everyone who played. I wish I had some nice parting gifts, like Breck and Turtle Wax, but I don't. You could get yourself a box of Rice-A-Roni and pretend, though. If you were really into it.

Well, if I had to be a loser it's good to know I was in good company!

You'd be so proud of me...I did a "abecedarium of demise" with my letter G too. It also involved gangsters! I love the sketches you include with yours!

Congrats to Lissa and poor Gus! Love his eyes. Your "G" words are quite gritty and gutsy. :) Hope you have a great day.

First of all I might say that my expresso tastes an awful lot like consomme when I make it with beef broth so technically I think I won.

But I will be a G racious loser because I think I am actually the winner getting to read your always G inormously (sorry) entertaining posts!

G is not exception.

Good Golly Girlfriend.

You are amazing!

A+

OK, and a G ruding congratulations to the no longer a loser winner! Actually, it's not G rudging but that was the only G word I could think of!

If there was a contest and the winner was the person that used the most G words in a single post it would be you!
