Abecedarium of Demise: The Letter Z

Zachary had Zero Zest for the day ahead
Yesterday he lost his Zither and his Zinnias all were dead.

As bad as yesterday was, today is a zillion times worse,
by the end of the day poor Zachary will fall victim to the Zombie curse.
Thank you for everyone who stuck with me! Go ahead, meme, you go on without me. I'll still be here, puttering around, if you want to see what I'm knitting or painting, stop over.

Abecedarium of Demise: The Letter Y

Yesterday Yolanda planted Yams near the Yukon River
She ran back into her Yurt when a loud Yowl made her shiver

She knocked over her basket of Yarn and it was as tangled up as spaghetti
She was trying to unravel it when she Yanked away by a Yeti
Phew! Only one more left. This woulda been more fun if we weren't getting evicted right now. But I'll try to stay with you as long as I can.

Abecedarium of Demise: The Letter X
I apologize in advance, that I haven't been able to keep up with everyone's blogs. I would understand if you told me to go jump in a lake, but I will finish my Abecedarium for anyone with an abiding interest.

Xavier sailed his Xebec to a Xerothermic land
Where he came upon a Xoanon standing in the sand.

A Xenophobic Xylographer attacked him with a Xyster
Xavier's remains and his Xylophone were sent home to his sister.

Abecedarium of Demise: U and V

Vivian played the Violin in a popular Vaudeville Venue.
She Ventured to assist a Vainglorious Villain in his magic review.

She climbed into a Vented Vestibule and the Vulture produced a saw
Poor Vivian was Vivisected and the audience Viewed it all.

Ulysses flew his Ultralight Under an Ultramarine sky.
Umbrageous clouds gathered overhead and a Ululation came from Up high.

Ulysses soon became Unglued in light of these events so Uncanny
He was Untimely Usurped by a UFO, an Unusual end not met my many.

Abecedarium of Demise: The Letter T

T could be for our new tent. The one we used at our first ever New Castle Riverwalk Arts Festival. It was a little wobbly, but our neighbor allowed us to hitch our tent to some of his weights and his generally better tent, and we made it through, even though it was a bit breezy that day.

The boys were really good. We had a cooler full of juice boxes and PB and J sandwiches. They finished most of them before the Arts Festival opened. We had to make at least two dozen trips down the street to the bathroom by five o' clock.

Here I am!

Here is one of our displays.

And my paintings all hung up. Yay! It was a fun time. I only wish I remembered that I had the camera and taken more pictures of the other displays. But I guess they can get their own blogs.
Here is your Abecearium of Demise----

Tracy was Tormented by Talkative voices in her head.
They Told her Terrible Tales of Terror That filled her Tremulous heart with dread.

A Traveling surgeon Told he'd Thwart the Tiresome conversation
but Tracy did not make it out of the Tortuous Trephination.

Abecedarium of Demise: The Letter R

Ramona was a Recluse who never went to town.
She Read archaic Runes and wore a long black gown.

The Reverend said she was a witch and that she must Repent.
She expired on the Rack to the town's great merriment.

One other thing! R is for Righteous Roadside Attraction! If you are ever in the 'burgh drop in and visit our friends, Velda Von Minx and Mr. ARM at Trundle Manor. Taxidermy, oddities, a plethora of wet specimens and a whole lot of style. Click on the picture below to visit the collections!

Olivia Openly criticized the Ostentatious king.
UnOrthodox Observations can be quite a dangerous thing.

For the king hear her Opining and the Offense he could not bear,
he invited Olivia Over and served her the Oral pear.

Abecedarium of Demise: The Letter N

Nicholas Nabbed some New Neckties at Northrup's Department Store.
He wore some 'Neath his Naugahyde coat and Nudged his way towards the door.

But one Necktie became entangled on an errantly jutting Nail
in a Neckbreaking spin through the revolving door, his shoplifting plan did fail.
I have made my illustrated poem "On a Windy Night Ludmila the Clown Went Missing" available on blurb. It features 30 original artworks.
