Red Velvet Cat's Paw Shawl

That's my tentative name for this piece I'm making from some very fine baby alpaca yarn I bought last year. I finally decided I should try to make something out of it. It's been so long since I worked with such skinny yarn, I feel like my fingers are too fat to knit it.

I love the look of it. I've never worked with double pointed needles. Is it hard?

That color! And in your hands it already has the making of a masterpiece.
Happy week!

It is all relative, your fingers, that is. I like the color, and I am sure the finished item will be very nice.

That looks like it will be just stunning when it's done! I miss knitting...(fused wrist).

Is cat's paw the name of the stitch? Are you naming it red velvet after the cake? It looks scrumptious.
