Abecedarium of Demise: The Letter T

T could be for our new tent. The one we used at our first ever New Castle Riverwalk Arts Festival. It was a little wobbly, but our neighbor allowed us to hitch our tent to some of his weights and his generally better tent, and we made it through, even though it was a bit breezy that day.

The boys were really good. We had a cooler full of juice boxes and PB and J sandwiches. They finished most of them before the Arts Festival opened. We had to make at least two dozen trips down the street to the bathroom by five o' clock.

Here I am!

Here is one of our displays.

And my paintings all hung up. Yay! It was a fun time. I only wish I remembered that I had the camera and taken more pictures of the other displays. But I guess they can get their own blogs.
Here is your Abecearium of Demise----

Tracy was Tormented by Talkative voices in her head.
They Told her Terrible Tales of Terror That filled her Tremulous heart with dread.

A Traveling surgeon Told he'd Thwart the Tiresome conversation
but Tracy did not make it out of the Tortuous Trephination.

Trephination. Now that's not a word you see every day. Looks like you had a fun day at the festival. We are gearing up to do our first one in Rockport in July. Hope we have a good tent neighbor! Kathy

Your paintings are UNBELIEVABLE!! You are SO talented!! Great photos of you and your boys, it looks like you guys had a really good day! Oh and that's funny about the P B & J's being finished before it opened. That would happen to us too.

Every time I read your AT post my vocabulary increases. Not sure I'll ever use trephination in a conversation though.
Thanks for stopping by the Presbytere.

Hi July,

Great post. I learn something new each day. Your son reminds of my oldest. If she knows there is food she has to eat it LOL. Thanks for sharing.

I almost didn't recognize you in a picture without your hands on your head. You're also taller than I imagined from your profile and facebook shots.

The fair looks fun. You're so brave to attempt it with your boys, but it's great for them to see you producing and selling your art.

Love the continuing tale of alphassination. I know how Tracy feels about tortuous thoughts.

Poor, unfortunate, tormented Tracy!
Your boys are soo cute! And what good kids to cooperate with you so you could participate in the fair. Are you doing fairs all summer long?

Thanks for commenting on my blog today. I love that you're an artist. A real artist. In the flesh. And you're cute with kids. Another Wow.
I always wished I could draw or paint, but my lowest grade in college was in beginning drawing. I can't even draw a straight line. It's sad. But I majored in art history instead, so if you ever need to know anything about why art is art, I'm your gal.
I'd love to see more of your stuff. It's great.
I'm a new follower, and I'm adding you to my blogroll today. I'll be back.

Miss Julie! Thanks for the funny link this week. I was excited to see your show pictures but sad because there wasn't your usual macabre poetry and then happy because there it was.

Frankly, I'm exhausted now.

I would totally have stopped and talked to you! You are such an interesting person!

And those boys....sweet, sweet, sweet!

Terrific as always!

A+

Poor, poor Tracy, but at least the little voices are gone.

I enjoyed seeing your booth. I love those kind of events. Glad the kids were good!

Poor Tracy! Those voices in the head can be really troublesome.
