Sooooo Close!

Seeing how the cushion will look. The zipper isn't in place on the cushion cover yet.

For the back, I stretched a piece of a vintage bed sheet that I used to like on my bed when I was little. There was not too much of it left. I think strips were torn off to tie up tomato plants or something. I'm a little sorry that it won't show, but I'm glad I was able to save it and use it. Maybe my grandkids will get the reupholstering bug someday, and they will see it!

Prest-o, change-o!

It's almost done and you've done such a good job. Are you ready for a couch next?

Fantastic! Love how you were able to use something sentimental to accomplish the renewing of this piece. Love it!

I swear, I think my mom saved the exact same sheet.

Great job.

Passing it along some day to one of your boys, huh? Which one?

You have that old Yankee ingenuity AND perseverance. You also have a beautifully recovered chair!

Oh my gosh! Would you believe that my parents had those sheets when I was little? In fact, I think I still have some pieces of that fabric left! Small world!
