If you remember a looooooong time ago, I started working on some story illustrations for a dark little fairytale I wrote. I am trying to resume work on these. I went back and touched up the illustration of the dark haired girl and her doll. Then I began work on the fair-haired girl, sitting on the floor, eating candy.

The red and green is nice. The brush strokes feel wet and painterly, like clay. I mean, as if they could move at any time, which is an alive feeling, which of course is good. Oh, I really can't wait to see it all together.
