Fantasy Portrait Session Six

I wish I had taken more pictures of the steps, but the armor came together so quickly I didn't think of it. Reflective metal is such a fun thing to do, it often comes together by accident. Reflective surfaces, in general, are a delight to do. I remember back in high school, how exciting and awful and terrifying the still life with wine bottles and glasses arranged on a draped fabric seemed! And it was terrible! All of our glasses were misshapen, the open tops all wonky, wrong, ovoid shapes. Reflective glass is a forgiving thing to paint, but the bones, the lines, must be intact underneath, or it is a terrible mess. Sometimes I think I might do a still life again, just for fun.

If you are interested in having a portrait done my rates are as follows:
9" x 12"..... $100
11" x 14".... $200
16" x 20".... $300
18" x 24".... $400
22" x 28".... $500
24" x 36".... $600
For a "fantasy" style portrait, with fantasy embellishment, add $50 to the base price.
