Folk Dance Embroidery and an Alligator Head
Some pictures I took as I was finishing my "Circle Dance" pillow. You can see the finished pillow at my etsy shop. I got some really nice pictures of it in a woodland setting (under the tree outside my apartment!) My Good Babushka
I picked up this alligator head with red glass eyes at the flea market. Sometimes I put it in front of my fish tank. I hope it makes my betta feel more like its out in nature. I was thinking I could arrange the alligator head with some other interesting odds and ends and make a decent still life out of it.

I'm reading and adoring your stitch work when BAM..."alligator head" makes his appearance. Yeah, sure, Mr. Beta feels more at ease. You just enjoy scaring the living hell out of that bugger don't you! Mr. Beta is probably dreaming of zombie gator heads lurking, poising for attack. I'll be chuckling all day.
LOVE the pillow!! The colors are gorgeous! Having a good laugh over the alligator in front of the fish tank.
I'm still chuckling over you putting the alligator head by the fish! You are wonderful!
