Troublesome Creek. Original painting 8" x 10" acrylic on thick, acid-free paper. Inspired
by The Blue Fugates of Troublesome Creek, Kentucky. They were a family
known for carrying the genetic trait that led to the disease,
methemoglobinemia, which gives those who have it blue skin.
Painting
does not contain the "My Good Babushka" watermark that was included
here for security purposes. By Julie Kwiatkowski Schuler.

I love "Troublesome Creek", it reminds me of the Woolpit Green Children and that folktale/legend about them. Incidentally, I cannot find your "follow" button. :(
