Long Golden Cardigan

I've rustled up a vintage pattern that featured the look of cabling, but is not true cabling. I've reworked it into a long cardigan. I'm going to give it pockets, I think. Here I've finished the back. All my work is handmade, one of a kind. You can see my selection of cardigans available in the Cardigans and Sweaters section of My Good Babushka. Yellow Cardigan

I was going to make a yellow afghan, but then I changed my mind. I unknitted the whole thing and now I'm making a cardigan. Here is the back and two pockets on a holder. If I keep this up, I'll never have to buy yarn anymore!

Dandelion Cardigan

Here is my yellow cardigan in progress. It has two nice pockets and a pretty cable on each side. It's going to need some sleeves, though. I think I will put the same cable up the side of each sleeve.

Two Tone Cardigan

Here is my two tone cardigan. In sage green and cocoa brown. Waiting for buttons and maybe some pockets.

Happy Valentine's Day, to all the sweeties who stop by to see what I'm crafting. I love yinz.

On the Needles

I made a large shawl collar cardigan with the same color yarn and now I'm making one in miniature. I'm going it alone, without a pattern. Since I've made three of these, I think I can make one that is about the same, but smaller. I expect this will fit a child size 6-8. I'm using my children to gauge the size. I think I will call this color "root beer heather". That sounds like a good color for a child's sweater.
