Abecedarium of Demise: The Letter D

Dolly was a Dancer with a Dour Disposition
She treated everyone she knew with an unDisguised Derision.

At a Downtown penthouse party her sarcastic tongue was not abated
and by Dawn poor Dolly found herself summarily Defenestrated.

Good Morning!!

Thanks for stopping by the farmhouse for a visit today. I see you are quite a writer and artist! That portrait of your son is quite an heirloom! I know he will treasure that forever.

OK. True story. I am reading the D links and loving them. I get to yours...I know that word...and I am almost wiggling in my chair in excitement. And, no, I didn't just have to go potty (Grandma-speak there, sorry)

Julie, you are an absolute unique and lovely treasure.

How do you think of these things?

When you become famous please don't forget all of us.

A+

Wow! What did you do? I don't think I have ever seen 10 comments for one of your posts before. Congratulations! Perhaps as you hear from more people, you will gain confidence in your ability to write and entertain. You know your drawings stand up against anything out there. Maybe you should start putting a book of short tales together. : )

Julie, I wish I could comment with a fraction as much comic creativity as you have in your AlphabeThursday posts.

You must be great fun at a dinner party after a glass of wine!
