I did this portrait of my son from a picture taken when he was two. I really like doing children's portraits. I'm giving this to my son, for him to keep. He liked it when I showed it to him, he said it made him feel like summer time!
I can't believe he's six years old today! I love you, Matty baby!

You certainly caught an impish glow about the eyes in this painting. And Matty is definitely correct. The painting does feel like summer (which we could all use about now!)
