The Folk Dance Embroidery

I began work on a new embroidery. This one has stylized folk dancers dancing in a circle. There are also lots of flowers. I am going to use lots of different colors.

Sugar Flowers and Skulls

I guess the embroidery bug has bitten me hard! I'm starting a larger piece, but a popular and pretty common theme of mine, skulls! and hearts and flowers, too. It's a very feminine and pretty piece, even though it has skulls.

Circus Rider with Pony Embroidery

I am really getting the hand of my filling stitch. I especially like the shiny gold thread I used in the rider's costume. You can get some better pictures of the finished work at my etsy site.
