Abecedarium of Demise: The Letter E

Before I invite you to my Abecedarium of Demise today, I would like to take a brief detour.

I have been working assiduously on new miniature portraiture on small plaster cameos. This painting is approximately 1" x 2". I suppose they are like little frescoes. I have put little hooks into the backs so they could be hung as they are, or slid upon a safety pin for a brooch or lapel pin. I also have some little landscapes, I will post soon.

More to the point- I am thinking of having a contest and the winner can have one of these plaster cameos with whatever they want on it- a landscape, or a portrait that I could paint from one of their own photographs. If this is something you blogfriends would be interested in please say Aye or Nay in the comments. If there is enough interest I will have the contest next week, after I figure out how I want to conduct it.

Without further interruption- I have killed off another little doodle for your amusement:

Ernie was an Electrician who worked in Ellwood City
He couldn't help but look at girls when they were very pretty.

To re-wire the women's dormitory, poor Ernie was ill-suited
For his Eyes wandered from the task at hand and he was Electrocuted.

You are always the highlight of my Alphabe-Thursday!

I went to you Etsy shop (E is for Etsy) today for the first time - I hadn't really looked at your sidebar before because I was too busy laughing.

You are intense and talented; also intensely talented.

Julie! I just love your imagination. I also enjoyed your back and forth over on It's This or Go Crazy. Although we are of very different world views I find you both intriguing and sweet.

About that contest...YAY!

I'd say he got what he deserved LOL. This I think is my favorite so far, although I think I have to go back and look at them again. You know these might be cute to think about putting in a book form although I guess not for kids LOL.
