Berries and Cream Still Life in Progress
Working on getting the wood grain in the background right. It's very rough and rustic. It goes well with this crackle-glazed pitcher of cream.
You can see the completed Berries and Cream, if you want to cheat and skip ahead. It is one of the paintings available at My Good Babushka. Fine Art, Jewelry. Needlework.

Berries and Cream Still Life
I decided it was time to mix it up with a still life. Some berries and cream. I'm working on the wood plank wall today and the lovely crackle-glazed pitcher of cream.
I have done other food still lifes, like New England Bean Supper, there are also a few others at My Good Babushka. Art, Chainmaille, Needlework.

Still Life with Apricots
I've finished my still life with apricots. Below is the finished work:
Still life featuring a variety of apricots. Cream tarts studded with glistening apricots, an apricot decorated cake ringed in mint leaves, dried apricots, fresh apricots and apricots in juice. All arranged in a very appealing manner. Original acrylic painting on canvas board 14" x 18". Signed by the artist, Julie Kwiatkowski Schuler
You can find information on purchasing this piece Here at My Good Babushka.

Still Life with Apricots
I particularly like my mint leaves in the bottom picture. And I suggest that anyone who wants a challenge should try to paint some dried apricots.
