Some Embroidery

I made this little embroidered pillow, and even crocheted the lace around it. I don't think I will sell it, though, as it is a little wonky looking. I'll keep it for myself.  You can see some Hand Embroidered Art that passes muster at My Good Babushka. It's back to the drawing board for me.

Embroidered Choker Neclace

An embroidered choker necklace in blue and plum. I hand crocheted the cotton lace edging and sewed it on, also by hand. I am a bit stuck as to what to use for a closure. I tried a hook and loop, but it is hard to do at the back of your neck. I might try velcro. I think that would give a more personal fit, too.

Blue Octopus with Red Top Hat

I just felt like something was missing....





A jaunty red bow-tie! This fellow was crocheted by me with worsted weight acrylic yarn and stuffed with polyester fiberfill. He is about 20" from tentacle tip to tentacle tip. He now belongs to a lucky young master's private collection.
